About Me
My name is Rolf Johansson, and I am a freelance web designer based in Burlington, Ontario Canada (that’s just outside of Toronto).
What I Do
I design websites for people and organizations, big and small. I work with people over the long-term to first build, then continue to enhance their web presence.
Who I Work With
I design and build websites for emerging businesses, educational institutions and large companies. More importantly, I help create websites for people who are excited about the business that they are in.
Background
Since 1996, I’ve been designing and building for the web in one way or another. During that same period, I’ve held various positions within organizations where I learned a lot about how business works and how people work with each other.
Every day, I draw upon those experiences when working with clients.
Well-Crafted Websites
I am fluent in standards-compliant html and css. I’m a copywriter, I do a lot of information architecture and I also dabble in graphic design.
I build websites from top to bottom, and always make sure that are positioned to dovetail with new technologies that will come along in the future.
Expression Engine
I also specialize in working with Expression Engine (for content management) and it’s little sister MojoMotor (for smaller websites). Expression Engine and Mojo Motor are probably the most flexible, customizable content publishing systems out there.
